I am applying to get PR card for Canada through Canadian Experience Class. When I submitted my application in July 2013, I paid the RPR Fee upfront. I have a copy of the receipt for the $1490 that I paid, but the receipt does not itemize each fee that I paid. I was sent an email telling me to schedule medical exams and to pay RPR Fee about 4 weeks ago. The email (from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) gave instructions on how to pay the RPR Fee online, to save the receipt as a PDF and email it to a different email address (CPPO-cost recovery@cic.gc.ca). I have sent emails to both of these email addresses explaining that I think I paid the RPR Fee already along with a PDF file of my original receipt in July, but I cannot get a reply from anyone to tell me yes or no, as to whether they have a record of me paying. I have waited 2 weeks since my 2 emails. I really don't want to pay another $490 again, and even if they figure out that I had already paid later on, I don't trust that they will refund my money.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dave

Call CIC. They will have a better idea how to approach this.

Maybe you were referring to the Application Fee that you submitted with your application?
That is different from the RPRF Fee, which you need to settle before your application is processed.

How is that $1490 broken down? $550 application fee + $490 RPRF + $450 ???

Application fees for 3 dependent kids... :)

Alright, so it does sound like you've paid your own RPRF, and no one else on your application needs one.

I take it you paid online while that was still an option, and therefore did not submit a fee payment form?
