Roughly how long

How long does it take mail to be delivered from Djibouti to London medical center, roughly. A week or 2 or longer?

I think it should take a few days if it was sent by courier. Did you redo your medical, have you received your passport of your wife back with visa?

Hey how you doing waitin_vain

I had to redo my medicals because they had expired. I asked for an extension and the Nairobi office told me that the extension was only issued if it was requested one month prior to expired medicals. That was a lie they told me because I sent them proof from Cic website that medicals can be extended if the only thing waiting for permanent residence process to be complete was that. After hundreds if emails trying to explain to them that we did it within 15 months and that my wife was eligible for a request of medicals.they finally sent an email to London visa office, and London sided with me and told them I was right. But, only "certain" countries were eligible for that extension, and Djibouti isn't one of them. So After all that hassle we did our medicals again on 24th march and now just waiting for the London office to review it and update nairobi. They will send the visa after they get the medical results. In the meantime, now I found out the London office email, and started sending them hundreds of emails to speed things up.

So how's your process going?

Hi Samstar,

I am happy that the Regional medical office in London was able to make the process seamless sometime cic they are too stubborn.

My spouse application is still pending passport to be stamped because they requested it on mid of February by snail mail and we got the request late. We sent the passport to them on March 20 and we are still waiting to get the passport back.

Yea literally hundreds, I don't stop till I get a response from the visa office. Sousually I send hundreds ( just reseeding the same messages) and they eventually respond back with one loool. It's frustrating but someone's gotta do it

I tried quality, thy ignored me and sent me generic responses, I started quantity, and the process started rolling. 1 month ago I was in an interview queue, and now I'm just waiting for them to get my medical results. They have my passport and pictures. You would think quality would make the difference but that only works when you grab their attention ( and when they know you on a first name basis after emails and calls)

So I received my copy of my wife's medicals, so London most likely has theirs. Now last step is trying to figure out how long it takes to analyze medicals so they can be sent out to Nairobi. I don't want to start sending London emails and phone calls.
