Room Attendant - eligible for PGWP or not?

Hi there,

I am on my 2nd year of tourism and hospitality in Nova Scotia.
I’ve got a room attendant job at Westin Halifax.

will I be able to apply for work permit with this job as per the job list? after and then Pr?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you looked to see what NOC it is? Is your educational institution eligible to issue you a PGWP? Does the Westin provide support for LMIA for work permits?

yes that’s correct. Room attendant in the house keeping department.

You could not use that job for PR under the CEC - you need to work in a skilled job class.

Is your school able to issue you a PGWP?
