Ya, in Bulgaria really is around 250$ and I have a dependent child, which is around 180$.
I prefer not to pay that money again. It`s huge sum compared to average salary like in Romania.

I`m curious how they calculate that. In West Europe is cheaper.
I calculated, that if I do the same medicals in private hospital it will cost around 80-100$ for me and 40$ for the child.

how is it cheaper in Western Europe? i know someone from Germany that paid 350 euros on her medical for Canadian immigration (family class). maybe it depends on the country? i have no idea how they calculate it, but you're right vania, doing it at a private hospital would have been cheaper ...

Yes, it depends on the country. I just red in the forum for cheaper medical, don`t remember the country. I think CIC gave the doctors green light to calculate how they want. ;D

Sooo as nothing happens with my file I was just wondering. As we didn't get an AOR, how can I find out when my file was transferred to the Visa Office in Bucharest? Also, how can I put all that info under my name, like you guys have?

AndieRocks u can email them BUCSTIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. Write sponsor name, date of birth client ID number. Write applicant name, date of birth and client ID number. And ask about the status of your application.

Usually Bucharest does not sent AORs. When did u get your first stage approval? Usually after u receive the letter that your partner was approved as sponsor, the file is sent to VO-as i heard, it takes around 2 weeks. Thats why u can email them and make sure that your file is in Bucharest. I did not get AOR either, i emailed them....

Andie, i heard the date your file arrived to Bucharest coincides with the date they display on e-cas for "medical results received" .. it basically means they attached the medical results to your immigration file, and many have said that this happens when your file arrives at the overseas VO.

There is no date in that field, it just says medical results have been received, Cutie...

Andie did you ever request GCMS notes? it should be written there when did Bucharest receive your app.

I did, twice, but I can't find any note on that. Just that my file was created sometime in december.
