i sent a query to the scotia bank and they replied to me with the updated form and i have been asked to fill that form and send them to the bank

and most important i also had asked them about the transfer and this is what they said :


"Further to your query with regards to transfer of funds, yes the funds can be wire transferred from any bank in which you hold your account and has the facility to do so in to your Scotiabank Student GIC account in Canada. "

but one more time i wana say , ITS IS MANDATORY TO SEND VIA KOTAK !

bcz it will help u in refund if ur visa gets rejected ... !

otherwise u will nt get refund easily ! take care of this .......... it takes just 10 minutes to open account in kotak , u can evn open a joint account !

refund has nothing to do with the bank , kotak even dont know anything about GIC how they can help you in refund !!!!!!!!!!!!!! for refund you only have to send the refusal letter directly to the scotia bank and believe me they will not going to entertain you in this as we all are filling the documents by ourself and the scenario will remain same in the case of refusal also (HOPE NOT TE SEE THIS)

for example if a student from kolkata want to purchase a gic then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


do he/she has to travel to bengaluru or new delhi or mumbai (not including chandigarh and ahmedabad here ) to open an account and to purchase GIC so this is not fissible at all. so its obvious you can do the wire transfer from any bank
