hi everyone.
My friend got a ROE dated oct 10 2010 as the last day of work paid. She signed a new contract with the other employer aug 20 2010 since it is needed for lmo application. The new work permit was issued oct 18 2010. Will there be a problem that she signed a new contract while shes still employed with the other employer?or cic will base the start of employment with the new work permit. Thanks

No. If one is not happy with his or her work conditions s/he can look for another employer while still employed. Your friend does not want to stop working and as long as s/he complied with the conditions of his or her contract as to giving notice, s/he is okay.

If your friend started working as soon as the WP was issued then that's when the date if became effective.
