Hi all,

I open this thread to discover timeline between CIC received application and when it was returned.
My first application was received Oct 12 opened Oct 26 from CIC and returned, because of wrong minor application form.


What is your timeline?

There is no specific time as it depends on when the completeness check is occurring. E.g. Some applicants who's app was received on the 13th Oct are just receiving the AOR now. That means that IRCC only recently opened and completed the check on the application.

Thank you, I am just wondering because I read some applicants send their applications november 7 ( date is just picked ) and was returned end of november because it is not complete or any other reasons.
I am wondering if CIC openes applications check for completeness, but comes back later for process it ( AOR ).

I get what you are saying most applications returned have been seen to be within 2-3 weeks. Anything longer is probably on the way to be reviewed for AOR. Though time line does vary thats just the average

Yes this is what I was meaning. I was thinking around same timeline as an average. Just was wondering who experienced same with the application.

I know one other person and it was two weeks after. Keep bumping till they see it

My Application was delivered on November 9 and haven't received AOR and my Application hasn't returned. No idea whether All is Good or My Application will return. Just waiting.

My parents application was received October 13rd and returned end of October due to missing ID. (I would argue that it was complete as sent, the officer did not know new rule, but anyways..). They resent on November 2nd, received Nov 6th and just got their AOR. Good luck to all.
