Anyone awaiting RCMP certificate? I just requested last week and I am told and reading online that it takes at least 22 weeks :'( for paper inked prints from outside Canada. Just wanted to know if anyone did this recently and if the posted times are indeed what is standard or average processing times? Thanks for any and all info.

If there is a match to a fingerprint record in the RCMP database, or if your fingerprints need to be processed manually for any reason, the processing time could be up to 120 days or longer.
Criminal Record check(Application submitted by a police service or accredited fingerprinting company)
Paper fingerprint application (NO match)it takes 22 weeks.
Electronic fingerprint application (NO match) it will take 3 business days or less.
Paper or electronic application (WITH match) it will take 120 days or more.

@Act,
Thank you for info.

Do you or anyone in the forum knows or can confirm the following? I heard just today that the RCMP does not accept any form of paper prints any longer. I am told they have recently started sending back paper prints asking for digital ones one from both inside and outside canada. I dont know of any one personally who has had this happen but a 3rd party told me this today and I wanted/prefer confirmation from the usual trusty forum members here.

@ HubbYsWiFeY. i have recently sent my paper FP from Pakistan to Canada to get it digitize from accredited companies of RCMP and then submitted to required authorities. you check my post describing the process.

Thank you so much Shahmed, very much appreciated. I have in fact started the process just now to have my paper prints sent off to Canada to have it digitized there and sent to the RCMP. Thanks
