Hello guys,

I'm newbie to this site, upon searching on Mr. google about bank draft it landed me here.


I'm applying for Temporary working permit in al khobar saudi arabia, i'm having a hard time where i can purchase a bank draft? bank draft or cheque are the same?

You can go to any NCB branch or SAMBA branch, you must have an account to issue a bank draft for you. Or you can ask someone who had an account, just pay them in saudi riyals. Personal cheque or company cheque is different. Only bank drafts are accepted in visa application by mail or by CVAC's in riyadh, alkhobar and jeddah

Travel History- did you provide your old/previous passport to verify travel history? If you answer yes, my advise is try to visit other countries with visa requirements like I did.

Immigration Status- You resided for 3 years, which is short unlike me, 12 yrs. with the same employer.

Limited employment prospects in your country of residence- I can see your current employement is just 10 months. This is probably the reason of your refusal.Not that you are not allowed to work for another employer. I know and you know it is illegal to work aside from your sponsor in Saudi Arabia.

These are just my own opinions and doesn't guarantee an approval, you can re- apply as you like , you should do so ONLY if your situation has changed significantly or you have new supporting documents to submit to help your application.

What are my chances of getting a TRV? Here's my profile:

Single
Working in a govt hospital in Riyadh for 8 years on a supervisory position
Valid B1/B2 US Visa 10 years multiple
Traveled to UAE twice
Filipino by citizenship

I will be visiting my cousin in the US this November for three weeks and I'm planning to have a side trip in Toronto for a week upon the invitation of a friend. So my POE will be via Buffalo/Niagara..

Im planning to apply for a single entry TRV only..

im hir in riyadh still working, i have my contrct and employer letter ready,
but my LMO expired last july 30, thats why my employer in canda file again last august 2 to take new LMO.
the immigration consultant that helping me said that 8 to 10 weeks it will be release.

plan ko po snang mag apply ng visa online pag dumating n LMO ko, para sna habang nag hihintay ng visa nag wowork parin ako.
kailangan n po bang mag resign ako para mag apply sa phil. or ok lng kung dto sa riyadh.? panu kung kailanganin un passport, d ko p nmn agad makukuha un.

I have applied for WP in Riyadh cic on 22nd June 2013. Till now I did not get my visa. On the website it says 6 weeks, but now almost 14 weeks iam waiting for my WP. Every time I send email to the embassy, they reply saying 'your application is in process'. Anyone applied for WP from Riyadh and share the timelines?
I think the PAFSO strike is also over

I'm here also in saudi but i applied my application thru online, i submitted my application last october 14.

Need your Help mga Kabayan.

I am planning to apply for TRV by end of November 2014 with an invitation from my Sister whos Permanent resident of Canada. My concerns are below, do you guys think im eligible to be granted for a visit visa?

1.My Iqama is valid until April 2015.So by end of Nov. five mos na lang sya valid.Whats CIC's requirement regarding IQAMA's validity?
2.Regarding Bank statement, i could only provide 3months statement from local bank here in saudi, coz i previously receive my salary on cash basis. But i could provide a bank statement as well from my home country.
3.Im currenlty employed for only 8 mos since Feb 2014, the reason why im applying for TRV is for my annual vacation for next year. But its my second time here in KSA after my first employment last 2007-2009.
4.Im holding a valid US C1D visa, coz im a former crew member from a cruise ship.And my travel history includes Singapore and Hongkong.
5. Ive been to Canada when i was working in the cruise, but I got no stamps from my passport coz for crew member we only use "I95 landing permit".My question is do i still have to include the places ive been to from TRAVEL HISTORY FORM, even no stamps from my passport?
5. What other documents should i submitt to support my application?

Hope you can give me advise regarding my case.Would really appreciate your replymga kabayan

Wife applied for a TRV online: 21st of April
Biometrics submitted at VAC Jeddah: 24th of April
Biometrics reflected online: 27th of April
Request for Passport: 14th of May

Hello! I know this post is 3 years ago but just a question. If you are an expat here in Saudi and has a valid iqama (residence permit) what should you put as a status in the form IMM5257? Is it a permanent resident or worker? and how about the dependents? what should their status be? if you also put worker, it is asking for the dates, however, we only have an expiration date in the iqama. Do we also need to translate our iqama? Hope you could help me. Thank you.
