Right time to add spouse

Hi everyone,

I had applied for my PR in May 2014. Got my medical request on 20th January and had my wedding on 21st January.

Can anyone please suggest when is the right time to add my husband in the application. Now or after getting my PR? What will be quicker to get his PR as well?

I would say NOW.. It will sure delay your application and bump up the processing time, Moreover you must inform CIC that you martial status has been changed, and once you will tell them, they will ask you to send your spouse documents.
But i am thinking applying now wont take that long as it would take after PR.

It's not matter of quicker or delay (You don't have choice)
As soon as your martial status change you have to inform CIC

I am in the same situation. Applied in Sep. and got AOR two days back and between this time i got married.
Now what is the process to add spouse to the Application?

You INFORM CIC, and they will tell you what you need to do.

Just emailed CIC and also got my marriage certificate!
