Hi All, I have recently received a request to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and submit my passport to the Singapore visa office, i have few questions to the seniors:

1. The fee is eligible for my and my wife, do i make one bank draft with the total amount or i make two each is $C 490?
2. I am based in Kuala Lumpur, if i do travel to Singapore to submit the passport, would i be able to collect it back on the same day?
3. If i make the draft using HSBC bank payable to the RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA would that be correct? Because in their email they said:

(Canadian dollar payments must be made in the form of a BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Canada and made payable to the RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA)

4. Any else should i take note of before i travel to Singapore? Because i noticed many people are being returned to correct their drafts and so on, and since i am be traveling, i would like to make sure i have all the basics covered.

Any input is highly appreciated!

Dear Salmi,

What is your timeline?R u MI1 or MI2 Applicants? When did u get & finish ur medical?Does PPR request come through PPR or through e-mail?

I can answer your second queries..It will take 4 days to get ur PP stumped.Because, after ur arrival, they will take ur PP & will give u a token in lieu of PP. After 2 days they will return your PP.. Did they advise you to collect visa physically??

Hi salmi, I am writing to u based on my experience regarding ur case, because I was in the same situation, u have to prepare a bank draft( 1 piece for both of u means $980), if u go to the embassy it will take u 2 hours to get back ur pp stamped inshallah, wish u best of luck
