Right of Permanent Residence Fee for sponsored spouse?

Hi there,

For some reason, I've always thought that the for applying for a spousal visa application was $1100. $75 for the application, $475 for principal applicant, and $550 for the sponsored spouse.

Now I'm reading something about a Right of Permanent Residence Fee of an additional $490.

It seems like it, but I just want to confirm if this applies to sponsoring your spouse as well?

So therefore the total would be $1590.00. Does this make sense? (For some reason I think I missed this as it wasn't included under the family class fees but seems to be under another section on the website)

And I'm assuming this has to be paid at the same time of the application.

Total fees are $1040:

$75 - application fee
$475 - primary applicant fee
$490 - right of PR fee

The sponsored spouse is the principal applicant if you're the one sponsoring your spouse. What scylla said is the correct amount.
