Last friday my immigration office (buenos aires, argentina) asked my husband to pay for my Right of Permanent Recident fee.

He payed it yesterday and all i have to do is send them the receipt.

My question is after paying the fee how long does it take for them to approve my application and when i would get my passport back (since i already sent them my passport a week ago)?

Hey,

Congrats on being almost done! but apart from that, i don't think anybody can tell you how long it will take... it depends on each VO, each case is different, so... sorry, not able to tell you much. I would say that you should hear soon, normally they ask to pay the RPRF when they are ready to issue the visa. So... I would say give it a week or two at least...
Hope it all goes fast for you,
Cheers,
