The first part was really fast my husband got cleared pretty quickly so he was able to sponsor me (we applied in November). Then on january 9th they said that they received my application in buenos aires. Didn't hear anything until August, i had to redo my medical and background checks again...

They started my process in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 15, 2012. They asked for my passport on November 8th and I'm getting my passport next week in the mail. I cannot believe i'm finally done! It feels great i hope everyone applying in baires get everything done soon!

EVERYONE! so yesterday i got sent an email to baires about the whole passport issue and today i got an email saying that my visa has been issued that they will mail my passport back.....does this mean the visa has been approved?!?!?!

Yeah i had to mail it cause i don't live in baires, but my passport got there in a day. Hopefully they mail it to me soon. i just sent them an email! This is sooooo frustrating! i just want them to at least reply to me!

I mailed it from Neuquen Capital, Argentina. I don't really remember if i requested to pick it up or if they send it to me. How do i know what i requested?

So it's been a month and 3 days since i've sent my passport to Buenos Aires.... how long can they keep it for?! also do they email you saying that you were approved? i'm getting really anxious....!

I did my medical in august so it hasn't expired yet. This is what it says on my ecas: We received your application for permanent residence on January 6, 2012. We started processing your application on October 15, 2012. Medical results have been received. do they mail you your passport back...

HEY guys my VO office is in buenos aires as well as everyone on this thread! i have a question about the passport request. They asked me to send my passport and i did on the 8th of novemeber...i got an email on the 9th asking to pay for the Right of Permanent resident fee... i did on the 15th...

this happened to me too they requested my passport, 2 recent photos, and they also requested my rcmp background check that i still haven't gotten. Also does this mean that when they ask for your passport they won't do an interview?

i recived my PPR just wondering if this means if i´m pretty close or how long will they keep my passport for. my office is in buenos aires argentina.
