What is the difference between "Right of Permanent Residence Fee" and the fee we are suppose to pay when we are sending the application. I paid like over $1000 when I was sending the application to Mississauga. Did that include the "right of Permanent Residence Fee" or we have to pay more?

thank you

The ones that you paid to Mississauga is for PROCESSING FEE Only.Right of Permanent resident Fee is different - you pay this once the Governement of Canada is ready to issue you a your Permanent Resident Visa (meaning if you get approved)

If you paid $1,040 up-front then you have already paid the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

$1,040 = $75 (processing fee) + $475 (principal applicant) + $490 (RPRF)

The other two fees are always paid upfront but you have the option of waiting until the RPRF is requested.

Keep in mind the $475 application fee is per applicant. If you are sponsoring more then one individual, say a spouse with 2 dependents, then the fee is $475 x 3.

Thank you for your replies. Actually I am sponsoring only one person. So I am good to go.
