Right for permanent residence fee

Hello everyone,

I am ready to send my application to a VIsa office which is in Manila. I just need to clarify this matter regarding the right for permanent residence fee. I already paid CIO on my initial application to NOva Scotia $550 and now I know I have to pay for the Right for permanent residence fee. Do I send it with my application already in Manila or wait for them to ask for Right for permanent Residence fee?

Because in the Visa application instructions it states that "If you are applying as a federal skilled worker then you must "pay the processing fees to the CIO in Canadian funds." - But I thought I have already paid for this in the initial application or is this different?

Consult the Fees section of our Web site or the Guide for Skilled Worker Applicants
to calculate your fees. Payment may be made in Philippine pesos or Canadian
dollars. Payment must be by means of an international money order, certified
cheque or bank draft, issued to you within 30 days of the date of your payment to us.
It should be made payable to the “Canadian Embassy – Manila”. We do not
accept cash. ---- The payment amount in the website is $550 dollars too, I thought it would be $490?

Hi bonsai. i'm also from manila visa office.

i got the request to pay for the right to permanent residence fee together with the medical request. so submit first your full docs.

hi! i'm new here. do you have any idea what happens next after they have requested for the medical exam and rprf? we have just finished the medical exam last june 26 and still waiting for further instructions from the visa office. will they request for additional documents? or will they just ask for the passport (assuming that we have passed the medical exam)? thanks for the help.

No additional docs will be asked. Now they r doing security check to see if u r having any connection with ABU SAYYAFF GROUP. ;D ;D
After that if doubted u can get security interview and if clear PPR.

Congratulation! for getting medical.Your application filing date, app category FSW1 & NOC code r same with those of me. But unfortunately my visa office is London. So a long long waiting........ waiting for medical.
Could u please share your IELTS score. I read in this forum an application was rejected due to moderate IELTS score. The reason of rejection stated that under NOC-4131 category IELTS score should be better than moderate level. I am a bit worried because my score is as follows S-6.5, W-6.5, L-5.5, R-4.5. Thanks.
