Hi Everyone. Im in process of compiling documents for OINP application. Im applying under NOC 2171. Can anyone please verify if my roles and responsibilities fall under 2171??

Role: Consultant

Responsibilities:

 Identifying application limitations and deficiencies in the existing systems and

associated processes

 Attending business meetings over conference calls with other development teams

and clients for business clarifications and assess user requirements

 Managing issues faced by clients for a business process in the Business unit

 Researching and analyzing the deal management systems and dashboards to

appropriately address client queries

 Updating and maintaining the tracker to capture issues for reporting purpose and

creating knowledge base

 Creating client reports and presenting them on weekly and monthly basis

 Preparing system and process design document with development team before the

development phase

 Creating detailed internal end user documentation of business processes to ensure

smooth operations

 Providing guidance and conducting knowledge transfer sessions for the skills which

Is it NOC-2171?

Position Overview:

•Create new inventory, purchasing and sales reports
•Diagnose and fix issues with existing reports
•Work collaboratively with Information Services and other functional support teams to identify and communicate integration plans and system/software requirements
•Conduct requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders; Communicate requirements for new software to the Information Services team and ensure that department requirements are being met

•Clarify and validate requirements throughout project life cycles
•Monitor, facilitate and participate in the deployment of integrated software and applications
•Develop test plans and test cases for integrated applications and software, ensuring effective coverage of requirements
•Participate in the creation and execution of development and implementation plans, documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
•Provide backup coverage for the Merchandising Coordinator
•Frequent involvement on special projects
