This School Is a scam 100%, especially to immigrants. They charge more to immigrants for certain programs.
They lie and say that you can not buy used books to save some money.
They make you spend $$$$ on books and never use them, they mainly use slides that are old and out dated like their equipment.
They hire teachers that have no experience, many of my teachers were hired within 3 weeks of knowing what they were teaching, some were informed the week before school started that they were teaching this subject and when they start.
they have a flea market in the hallway trying to sell CDs, games, perfumes, fudge, just another way to get students money. not professional at all.
bathrooms in the older end are far away.
the cafeteria is overpriced and rude.
The classes and programs are all overbooked and overpopulated. Which means they are over populating the job market and nobody makes a decent wage because there are so many people applying for the same positions.
2 years or 3 years and you get out and make 2$ more then minimum wage, there's no point, You might as well work for free and save your money.
The work placements are just free workers for the community and make you do jobs that have nothing to do with your education, paint this wall or fill 4 weeks worth of paperwork.
They say the learning commons is there to help but every service I've tried to use at this place the person at the desk tells you to go somewhere else.
I hope this helps
