Hello,

I am quite new to this forum, please accept my apology for any mistake.

I have applied for local Police Clearance Certificate for New Zealand in my home country (India). Fortunately I get that certificate on time. But my plan is changed now and I am going to apply for Canada FSW class.

So Can I reuse that PCC, I have doubt because that PCC having below text
"which would render him or her ineligible for grant of travel facilities including visa for NEW ZEALAND."

Please advise.

Best Regards,
Chirag

Hi Chirag,

If it states that you have committed no crimes, my guess is that it will be okay for Canada. But it might depend on the way India issues police clearances. The fact that they mentioned New Zealand on the certificate seems unusual. I had to get certificates from China, France, and the US (for Canada), and they were all just general background checks with no mention of Canada.

It can't hurt to go ahead and submit it. If they don't like it, they'll ask for a new one.

Good luck!

@chirag.visavadia : Well my friend if it is mentioned on the certificate that it has been issued for Newzealand visa purpose than you cannot re-use it for Canada immigration as they will not accept it,so you better get new police certificate which clearly mentions that it is for Canada immigration purpose !

BEST OF LUCK !
