Returning to Study, is Study Permit valid?

i went to Canada in winter 2015 batch but due to some family reasons i had to return in march 2015 to India. now i have offer letter for September 2015 batch. Can i go again on same study permit as it is valid till august 2016. On cic website it states study permit becomes invalid after 90 days of completion of program, but no rule regarding drop is given. Please give your valuable inputs regarding this.

Well I am not too sure about that... You will be able to come to Canada... But at the port of entry you might not be allowed to enter...

I am really not so sure... You should try to call cic about that regard...

I know it's a pretty old post, but I'm in a similar situation and it would be really helpful if you could cpls onfirm whether you were able to enter Canada using the same visa? or did you re-apply again?
