Is it possible to return to Canada after I stayed for 7 months, I was as a visitor and overstayed and left to Australia to see family but I am British.

I've only gone three months will they send me back to the UK?

If and how long you are allowed into Canada will be up to the CBSA officer you speak to when you enter Canada. Since you overstayed, it would be a good idea to remain outside of Canada for six months before attempting to return.
