Returning to canada one day before visa expiry

My name is yakshi. i am currently a student in canada and my current visa on my passport is valid till 31st august 2017.i am planning a trip to india on 26th july 2017 and will come back to canada on 30th august 2017..i am very much worried whether i will be allowed to enter canada as i am comming a day before my current study permit expires and current visa expires. I have already paid my tution fees for my second year course and also submitted an application for study permit extension on may 13th 2017.

You will get your study permit soon. One more thing, apply for visa immediately, they won't take much time for visa. Extend your visa then go back to your country.

But checking the processing times for the application it seems that i would get my permit probably a day before the date i booked my flight..than it will not b possible to apply for visa

If i get my new permit by the time i go than is is possible to enter canada if i have one day of validity left for my current visa?

You can enter Canada but if on the air port official ask you have explain whole situation and unfortunately your study permit gonna expired at the same time so it's kind of risky. I would postponed my travel if I was you.

But if i get an approval for my study permit extension than still my current visa which is expiring on 31st of august 2017 will work?probably i will have my extended stidy permit with me when i go india but only the visa will be the old one which is valid till 31st august and i am entering back on 30th august.
