Returning to Canada on Open Work Permit.

Hello All,

I am planning to apply for open work permit once i get my file number for CEC application.

After getting my open work permit, i want to leave for India. I am planning to return after some 6 months.

My question is : Since i will not have any job while i am coming back to canada, is that a problem ? Do the immigration authorities ask for any specific things ?

If you hold a valid work permit and trv ( if applicable ) then you shouldn't have issues
coming to Canada. Might be a good idea to bring proof of your PR application and supporting
documents tho.

The only proof i can have then would be the AOR mail i get. Is there any other documents that u r talking abt ?

That should be sufficient for you to return to Canada. You hold a valid WP, TRV and have proof for a PR
application.
