If you are a Canadian Citizen, as well as your child, and everything is in order I think you can move back with no issues. For your wife, I would suggest starting an OUTLAND spousal sponsorship right now. If she is of greek nationality, the official processing time on the CIC website is 10 months, but I have a feeling it would be much faster than that.

I suggest you take a look at the Family Class section of this forum, there's a lot of information for this kind of immigration.

Good luck ;)

Thank You CaroM8 !!!!!!!!
Unfortunately The Immigration Visa Office For Greece Is In Italy And In case Of An Inrerview it would Be An Extra Expence.I plan To do the Sponsoring from Canada ..Inland.Is This A Good Idea ???

No I would not suggest inland.

The chances of you being summoned for an interview are very slim, in my opinion. You have been married for over 20 years, and have a child together. Your relationship is not "weak", if you know what I mean. They usually ask for an interview if they have doubts that your relationship is genuine. In your case, it won't be an issue.

The only issue I see with your case, is that you've been away from Canada for so long, you will have to show very strong proof that your intention is to relocate to Canada. I would submit some job searches, house or apartment searches (even if you won't apply for those specifically, it shows that you are planning!). Get friends and family to write letters, as witnesses of your relationship, but also that they are aware of your plans to return to Canada, and will help you if needed.

Definitely do an outland application. Let's say you take a couple of months to gather all the info that you need, submit at the end of November, your wife could have PR by summer 2017.. The inland can take up to 2 years, plus, no right of appeal in case of rejection!
