Dear Sirs/Madam,

I landed in Canada on Feb/2017, and I stayed for 1 month only and left the country.
I am planing to settle for good on Nov/2019, I will have 820 days remaining (2 years and 3 months) to meet the PR requirements. will there be any issue at PoE?.

I am confused because someone have told me that the first 5 years have different calculations to meet the PR obligation.

Thanks

It does have a different calculation. 730 days in the first 5year and then 730 days in the preceding 5 years after that (it becomes a rolling total).

In your case, you shouldn’t have any issues as you have sufficient time left to meet RO.

Just want to clarify that after the first 5 years you must meet the 730 days out of 5 years on any day.
