Returned Application

My application was returned as incomplete because I did not complete the table for question 11 - Tell us what you have been doing during your eligibility period. This was not completed because I have been retired during my eligibility period and it specifically states 'enter details of your employment and education history during your eligibility period.' I called CIC and they said it could have been an oversight of the reviewer and there is nothing anyone can do at this time. Do i just hand write the details in and resend the same application? My application was sent on Nov 30, 2108. I still have time to sent it back before the 90 days expiry, but I not sure if I should complete a new application. Also, i noticed the form was updated in January 2019. Any advice is appreciated.

I would write RETIRED and put dates From: when you retired TO - PRESENT and send it back

Sorry to hear this ... but it was your mistake: “retired “ is one legitimate employment status, and it has been made clear we cannot leave anything blank in the application form

The same thing happend to me.I leave it empty.because I was house wife.and they return it to me.so I write I was home maker from date to date...,and they accepted that way.

It would be advisable to fill out a new application before sending since the forms have been updated

Once you send back your application, How long did it take to receive AOR? again 2 months or they resume from where it was sent back and send you AOR soon? I am in the same situation, its been a week they received our corrected application. Now not sure we should be waiting for over 2 months?

Well the first time I didn't receive AOR.until the second time.they receive my app 16 April. And I got AOR 24 may 2018.in process 11 July. Good luck for you.what is your location?

Edmonton, I hope they speed it up. With Expired PR card, we need it as soon as possible.

Don’t count on that ... my PR had 1.5 years when I applied ... had to renew it after 13 months since it became obvious that there was still no end to the waiting
