Returned application but can't find the reason...

Hi everyone!

My application got returned today saying that the reason was 'Your application was not signed and dated.'
And the word dated is highlighted. I found from the other forums that they actually highlight the things in the application form that you need to complete or to correct but for some reason, I cannot find that on mine. I have checked my application and my physical presence calculator and both of them have dates and my signature. As of now, I am still not sure on why my application was returned. I triple checked everything that requires dates and all of them have it. Am I missing something or is there a common mistake with this that I do not know? Please heeeelp D:

hard to say, did you follow the date format? did you use blue ink? did you put the right and current dates?

I did! I filled up the form through my computer and printed it out so I just literally have to sign it with my pen. I did put the current dates when I was filling up the form too. I will call them tomorrow to see if they have more information but as of now I'm just filling up the recent application form but I'm worried that it might get returned for the same reason again without me knowing what actually the reason is. And also if you would know, can I just send the same receipt for the payment or do I have to request for a refund and pay for it again?

It seems yours is another case of goof up by a processing agent at the Sydney office. Mine was returned for " no fees" , even though I am a million % sure I sent the correct receipt . Another recent poster's experience ; application returned for the reason 'no photos". Then he also gets the message from the office, " sorry, we found your photos".

I had same issue you don’t need to worry wathever they highlight you just sign or mark the date and re send again your application as it is that’s all don’t stress urself my friend

You can either type date on pdf OR by pen when you do sign. It doesn't matter

has CIC retuned your application by mistake? Or could you figure out the reason? If you could share it that would be very helpful for new applicants.
