I got married in November 2017, my student permit expired in January 2018.
We applied for sponsorship visa in November 2018. If I leave Canada to visit my family for 15 days will they deny my return?

You've overstayed a year, so yes, there is a definite possibility of being refused entry. If you applied inland, you should remain in Canada until you become a PR, as a refusal of entry would cause your inland app to be cancelled. If you applied outland, you can leave but know that you may not be able to return until the PR app is approved.
