I have a Canadian multivisa for 10 years. I have stayed in Canada for 5 months and 3 weeks with my parents who have PR status in Canada. I applied to student visa and this request was rejected. A week ago I left to the US to stay with my friend for some time. Today I received a call from my mother in Canada asking me to come back to help her with some very sensitive mater that I can't make public. Can I return next week to Pearson and to get the right to stay another 6 month in Canada?

Thank you for your quick response in advance!

Difficult to say. It depends on the CBSA officer you encounter. They may give you 6 months or just allow entry on your on the original entry.

If you don’t get another 6 months, apply for an extension as soon as you arrive.

Thank you for your reply!

The problem is that I won't have any time left on my original entry. I will return on the day that it will expired or the day after.

Generally speaking, CIC wants to see that you are spending more time outside of Canada each year than inside of Canada - and that you aren't attempting to live in Canada on a visitor visa. Given you were in Canada for almost six months and are now attempting to return for another visit after just a few weeks away, it's quite possible you may run into issue at the border. However ultimately impossible for any of us to say since the decisions is entirely up to the CBSA officer you encounter at the border.

agree with you and it is a common sense you can't prove why you going back when you spend almost 6 months there so it can create a trouble at port of entry so better wait and then enter either keep your self in USA or CA is showing your weak ties to home country Good luck
