Return package. should I adjust some info?

Hello. I applied in Feb and got return in May. Reason is, my hubby sent our package to wrong office , and when it was forward to Miss.Office, it was already in May. They told us that we had to re-write 3 new forms (look below)

***As of February 6, 2012, sponsors and applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete both the new Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) form and the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). Sponsors and applicants are encouraged to complete the forms electronically and validate the information to generate 2D barcodes before printing. To ensure you have the most recent application forms, please use the link to the application forms.

Older versions of sponsorship application forms will still be accepted, but only until March 31, 2012. ****

there are another forms.. so do you think we have to re-write another form? and since from Feb untill now, there are many things happens, (ex: he has been visiting me since March untill now, he is now a student vs unemployment in the past, and i have changed my job...) Should i adjust these kinda of information?

also, i have noticed that some little information about the time we met, proposed, wedding i wrote in the application form was a bit confusing. Should I change these information in the new form?

You need to do what they asked, update your application with new information as much as you can. Also, pay more attention to the new forms and remember to sign the document. I assume your husband is a Canadian citizen. If not, things will be more complicated.

yes. he is canadian by birth. a white quebecois with a white name I will up date another forms and pay more attention. Thank you for your reply.

Did they ask you to do a new police certificate?

i noted that you send out the application in feb so your police certificate must be issued in feb or before feb. and it was forwarded to mississauga in may. so if they consider the date of mississauga receiving the application package, your police certificate will be more than 3 months and would be outdated.


i ask this question because we made the same mistake as you... my hubby sent out our outland application package to vegreville in mid june. (we are an outland case so we should send the package to mississauga).

and till now we haven;t heard anything from CIC yet. i heard vegreville is slowing in processing so im worried it will be several months before they open my package and find it is wrong and forward it to mississauga..
