Return of Spousal App timeframe

So I made what I think is a huge mistake in our application that I'm assuming will have it returned to us. I didn't include translations. I assumed (I think wrongly) that like the IEC process the translations would be required especially as the passport is in English and French Too. That and the fact that seeing Italian doesn't trigger different language queues.
Maybe I could've gotten away without translations just his birth certificate and identity card all easy to understand but I also included expired police checks!!

The mailroom received the package on May 30 and I'm wondering how long I should wait or if I should just resend the package? I can reprint off the fee forms and resubmit the application.
Im feeling like a total wiener.

I still haven't received any word from CIC. I called them a week ago and they still hadn't opened our package. The agent was really reassuring and said that my husband will have implied status until it's returned for work and visitor permit. We might apply for an extension if we still haven't heard anything by the weekend as his status runs out next Thursday(July 27) just to be safe.
