Return of passport

My husband is a Canadian citizen and he has sponsored me.
I received an email about 1 &1/2 weeks now requesting me to send my passport and photos,I did as requested 1day after the email.
My question is how long does the Canadian embassy take to return my passport and visa. My medical will be expiring march ,2017.

What visa office you sent them your passport. My wife received hers in two weeks. Usually, that is the the timeline.

Hi!I alos send my passport and pictures to Port of Spain 3 weeks now. To day didn't hear anything back and file still saying in process.
Please let me know when you hear anything
