Retroactive payment and statutory holiday pay

Hey guys, wanted to know may be some of community members had an issues with retroactive payments. Will retroactive payment as well as statutory holiday affect to getting PGWP?

In what way. Stat holiday pay is paid out and why you would receive retroactive pay. If just a few hours then no issue.

Hi, thanks for answering. My employer had some backlogs of unpaid money to me, but when they put it to my payroll as retro payment it had gone more than 24 hours.

That is not how payroll works though. You can’t just choose when to pay out work hours or stat holiday pay.

It is not my preference though) even on paystub it comes as retro payment) absolutely legit process by a huge number of companies here in Canada.

Things like stat holidays fall within a pay period so not common to randomly payout at another time.
