Restrictions on importing Walnut, Oak and Teak boards into Canada

Hi there,

My US husband just received his CoPR - hoorrah! Does anyone know if it is possible to bring unfinished boards of wood across the board as part of his 'personal effects'? Wood is not specifically referred to on CBSA site.

Firewood is an issue. I am not sure about planks/boards. Call CBSA directly if that information is not available on their website.
