Restore or Extend status

Hi All,

I have valid Post Graduate Employment Work Permit which is valid till 2021
I understand that to travel in and out of Canada my visa sticker on passport must be equally valid.

in the application for TRV form should I select
Extend my status as visitor or
Restore my status as a visitor

Which is more appropriate

You are looking at the wrong application. IMM5708 is to change your status to visitor.

In the questionnaire during online application what should I select for
“what would you like to do in Canada?”

work or study

for your information I am currently employed. I graduated in October 2017 and my study permit expired on 30 March 2018.

I was referring to one of the tutorial for TRV from inside Canada on University of British Columbia website
It recommends to select "Study". Follow the link below

I assume this option is for those who are still in college/University and haven't graduated yet.

I am not a gentleman.

There is a particular way to answer the questions to get to the TRV app. Search the forum for threads on it. Otherwise, follow the link I provided and apply by paper.
