Restoration

Hello everyone,
My open work permit expired on Oct 16th 2020 and my temporary residence permit expired Dec 16th i have given 90 days to restore my status.
My question is that 90 days count after open work permit expired or after my temporary residence status expired?

I believe it is from date your open work permit expired.

Have you heard anything back yet? i applied for restoration and new work permit on January 5th 2021 and havent heard anything back yet

Actually 90 days of restoration starts from when your implied status expired or refused, yes I did received my restoration status back. You will get response soon they are taking little longer time

Did you also apply for permanent residency?
I have a common law or application submitted (originally sent in september 2020 but returned and completed feb2021) and I receieved a biometrics invitation letter end of March 2021 which I attended and completed within 2 days.

whilst this was moving quickly, I recently learnt that I have to wait until my PR application is approved (approved in principle AIP) before they start even start reviewing my open work permit application.

what was your situation?
