I think you are on 90 days peroid after refusal ... you can either try to restore your status or leave. Either of those you can do on 90th day and if applied for restoration of status you will still have no status but can wait in Canada until the end of tour case.
To be more specific... my employer f***ed up LMIA dates and pr9vided me outdated one (2 days after expiration date). My WP application was refused. I received a letter saying that my status has expired on May 2nd. Starting from May 2nd I have had 90 to restore my status. I started to look after new employer and found one. We applied for IEC WP 2 weeks before 90 days end. I got approval 7 days before 90 days and left Canada (went to states) and came back next day. Got new WP without any questions.
If I didn't get to that point, I was ready to apply for a restoration of status and wanted to send ppwk via mail. It would have taken anothe 6 to 8 months.
