Restoration or extension.... Pls help

My work permit will expire in two weeks and I do have an LMO for a different employer on process. I'm confused if I should file for an extension now, i mean before my wp expires or I shall wait to get my LMO and just applied for restoration and new wp then.. Please help... Ur insights will be highly appreciated...

New rules state that until you receive your LMO you are unable to file for an extension of your work visa.

Unfortunately, you will have to stop working once your current visa expires but make sure you have filed a visitor visa extension, else you will also be required to leave Canada on the same date.

Then you must wait for the LMO and reapply for a new work visa. Meanwhile, you will be just visitor status, so no work or medical coverage.
