Restoration of work permit

Does anyone know if I can apply for restoration of work permit online? I thought this was doable and then I saw a comment on a post from someone else here saying it is only done by paper application.

I applied for work permit extension before I got my pnp certificate but sent it along while it was still processing but it still got denied which is very unfortunate.

Would love to hear from anyone who has restored their work permit status, by applying online. How long did it take?

you can search work extension or work permit restoration timeline and search results will give you a CIC link that shows timelines. the processing time varies week by week. when I applied for an online work permit extension, the processing posted was 20 days. but it only took them 10 days to approve mine. for work permit restoration, I think you can only apply for it by paper. just make sure you attached complete requirements as well.
