Restoration of work permit processing time - how long more?

Hi,

I've been waiting anxiously for 5 weeks for the restoration of my work permit. Applied online on Aug 26. No response to date and no indication how long it'll take, 2 months, 2 years? Just a waiting game and had to stop employment. If anyone has experienced this please let me know how long it took for you to get your work permit restored. I'm just desperate for any answers.

Yes they asked for new documents, which I cannot provide them. It is a mistake. But nothing I can do but trying my best.

I heard the restoration permit, just an to give me idea. Is this an extension if your permit is expiring.. Pls enlighten me..

Hi same situation, i applied for restoration and work permit online still waiting now, although kn the processig time it says it passed already from date they received my application dec 20 in the site ots jan2 now they working on, is it different if applied restoration and work permit? Please help thanks

Mine took 6 months so you have to be very very patient unfortunately.

I would appeal to local MP for help in following up if it is more than 4 months wait.
