Restoration of status - question

Hi everyone! I appreciate your recommendations regarding status restoration for my case:

I have applied for a work permit extension just to be on implied status (I knew my that post graduate work permit couldn't be prolonged but I needed time to work and apply for PR).
Shortly after that I got my ITA and applied for PR. By that time my WP was already expired but in spite of that fact I also applied for a bridging work permit (with attached explanation letter).
I expect that my PR application will be considered in September. But my WP extension and BOWP applications should be considered in June (I applied on papers). That's why I'm afraid of having a gap of 2-3 months being without a status in Canada.
Searching for a way to protect myself. 90 days period from my WP will end on June 8th. I count this term exactly from WP expiration date, because if my application for an extension will be considered as "incomplete" it seems I won't have a new date to count this 90 days.
I have an idea to apply for a status restoration but have several questions:

- Should I apply for a visitor or work status restoration?

- If I apply for a status restoration I should stop working immediately, it that correct?

- Can I proceed my job and just withdraw my status restoration application in case if I'm granted BOWP?

- If I don't apply for a status restoration and my WP and BOWP applications are declined what should I do?

Just looking for any possible ways to protect myself. Actually I was so unlucky to apply for a BOWP in time just because they moved a draw from 8 to 1st Match :((( And so many problems now because of it...

Thanks to anyone who can help and share relevant experience!

I hope you're not counting that time on "implied status" for meeting program eligibility, because as you already know, it will probably be determined to be incomplete and therefore the time working since your actual permit expired will be unauthorized...

You're not eligible to restore as a worker. You could restore as a visitor; I suggest waiting until the last day or two to see what happens with your other WP applications. They will likely be refused, but you never know.

- If I apply for a status restoration I should stop working immediately, it that correct?
Tricky... if you apply for restoration, that implies you believe you are out of status, and should stop working. But technically, you don't have to stop working until you receive a refusal on your WP application(s).

- Can I proceed my job and just withdraw my status restoration application in case if I'm granted BOWP?
Maybe...

- If I don't apply for a status restoration and my WP and BOWP applications are declined what should I do?
Leave Canada ... If you stay, you will jeopardize your PR application.

Thanks a lot for your responses!

I think it make sense for me to apply for a visitor status restoration at the very end day before my 90 days period will end. If I'm granted BOWP I will withdraw my status restoration application. If I'm not granted and get a refusal letter I will stop working and will wait for a status restoration response. But now I'm going to continue my work anyways until I get any clarity with WP application.

There is also another hope: I've heard that many people who applied for PR under CEC (as myself) got it in 3 months period instead of 6 months...

And answering your question about "implied status" - no, I didn't count it when I applied for PR. By the time of my application I already had a full year of working experience within my official WP.

How do you think is it make more sense to apply for a status restoration on papers or online in my case?
