Dear friends
I applied on April 2009 and got reply on May (3 weeks) and informed me that you need to subimt additional documents. So, i sent it again on 18th of May and reached Nova Scotia on 25th. Its already going to be 6 weeks and not yet any response from there. I am worrying
Is there anybody got response who applied after 20th May.
Please provide some information on this.... How much time it may take?

Thank you

Incomplete documents lead to prolongation of the assessment of your file. When NS office saw that your application package was incomplete, they probably tucked it away for re-assessment pending the additional document that you forgot to include. The problem with this is, your application should have already been processed when they opened your file but since you're one document short, now your application is waiting to be opened again together with all the others who are incomplete.

Now this is just my speculation based on similar occurrences I have heard from other forums. Its kinda like losing your place in a long line. When you reach the counter, they say please stand aside until your papers are complete...at the meantime they will continue to process the people who came behind you.

But don't worry, patience is the name of the game...they will definitely take a look at your application again, just be patient :)
