If you have received sponsorship approval letter, don't worry about this part.I thought they were double checking the minimum income with the PA too. That’s what I heard in another forum. Ok, thanks for your input.

Thank you !Normally CIC will not send any acknowledgement to the document submittal. You can contact the call center and ask whether they have received. For June 25 applicants, not much is coming now.
Keep checking ecas for now.
Thanks, Is there a specific thread for the issue I am having? You've posted your question to the wrong thread. This thread is discussing social assistance repayments.

CIC Phone # 1888-242-2100. Then press 2-1-3-0 right after you heard options to select.Thank you !
If you have received sponsorship approval, the Social Assistance AB must have communicated already. No need to contact them.I received SA approval yesterday, after being in process since Sep 9. I had NOT contacted AB social assistance yet. It means applications will continue, just a little slower than others. We're still well within the 20-24 month period (very lucky compared to previous years. I think that's easy to forget).
No it's not, it's for people who are sponsoring their parents/grandparents and their application is delayed due a social assistance check. You may want to start your own post to get answers for your questions. This group is for ppl on social assistance.im confused

You will need to wait. Nothing much has happened in the past 2-3 months due to covid and processing is still a fraction of precovid. Think that is why you are still in process.hi @YULIA-2016 @canuck78 @robertp @laxsun @jayeshaminnew @serious_cheese and all forum readers.
Hope you folks are doing okay and staying safe in this pandemic.
I have applied in PGP program from Calgary,AB
I am in this unique situation where my SA got stuck "In Process" since Jan 2020. I have requested the GCMS notes in March and found out that they are waiting for SSC letter from Alberta.
I have contacted my local area MLA afterwards from there I got a call from SSC Personnel where they said that they have sent letter to IRCC which was on April 20,2020.
Fast Forward today, My SA is still stuck "In Process". I have requested GCMS notes again around end of May 2020 to see if they have received the letter but today got confirmation after looking at the notes that they are still waiting for it.
My question is , How can I send the letter personally from my end ? I don't want to contact Govt of Alberta any more as per them , its already sent.
What is the process of sending documentation on my SA file ?
Please advise.
Thanks.
You just have to be patient. My app was in process for 5 months with the AB social assistance check and this was before Covid. These things take time, and PGP isn't a priority right now.hi @YULIA-2016 @canuck78 @robertp @laxsun @jayeshaminnew @serious_cheese and all forum readers.

Try to call IRCC to find where did they send their request in Alberta. MPs office may also find which office will do SSC Check. Appears that @kwgcda is also in same situation.my file is in process since october 7, 2019 and the first step - sponsorshup evaluation is not completed because of SSC-AB pending. I lived in alberta from 2008-2015. I moved to ontario.
Its such a painful process, no one knows . I contacted two differents MPs and both of them basically said its still within normal processing time. It wasnt until i ordered the GCMS notes and found out that the application is stuck due to SSC check.
So, if i do get a MP involved or have them email SSC-alberta will it really help?
