Hi Seniors; Just curious to know the access of immigration officer at entry port to see the entry/exit records to know the number of days stay for a PR holder in order to determine his/her admissibility for 730 rule. Appreciate your response.
Hi Seniors; Just to simplify my question" do the immigration officer at entry point can make it time of absence/days of stay on their system for a PR". Appreciate your reply
Probably not in front of them. However they have your passport. If they are unhappy about your residency, they can report you and let someone else go through the records. Then, you may have to prove how many days you have spent in Canada.

CBSA have access to various info including flight manifests and shared data with say the US CBP. Assume they know you travels. If they are not convinced by your story it won't take long for them to figure out by extensively questioning you and cross referencing with your claimed employers, family etc. Remember they do this for a living and on say a regular 8 hour shift have so many 'stories' presented they can smell anything untoward from a mile.
Also the customs declaration form has two parts. One is for visitors and one for residents.
If you put yourself as a resident, you will need to put the date when you left Canada and if you put a visitor and present your PR card, the CBSA officer will ask more questions such as where you live etc.
