If we are in Canada but have not met 730 days residency obligation, but I plan to stay for 2 straight years before extending the PR card, is there any risk to be reported while we are working/studying here. What should we do. Thank you.

The only risk would be if you had a family member (e.g. child) who is not a PR and who you want to sponsor for PR. If you sponsored that child for PR before you meet the residency obligation, CIC would start proceedings to revoke your PR status.

Otherwise there is no risk.

if we dont meet the residency obligation and the child is on a Newzealand passport(visa waived) country, what visa can the child stay on in Canada until he is sponsored?
