Please for those that have passed through the final stage of getting the permanent residence card how long does it take to get the card after landing in Canada?And how much are you excepted to show as funds at the point of entry...

A few weeks and 10,000 $ per adult and 2,000$ per child is a rough guideline.

Not Neccesarily Bank Balance,Credit Cas etc.Basically show that you can survive for 3-6 months while getting a job

Is Credit Card a viable source ?
Assuming I have US issued Master / Visa Cards with about USD 10000 as limit (and balance), can I use that as a Source ?
(I am planning to move with Family and this will cover about 50%)
