My fiance and I were going over the paperwork last night and he had a question. Do we have to land in the province we are living while applying? He wasn't sure when he read the application so I wanted to clarify.
He lives in Quebec at this time, but we are looking at apartments in Ontario. If we file in Quebec and then move during or soon after the process begins will that negatively affect the application? Or also do I, as a Family class applicant, have a requirement that I remain in Quebec for a specific period?

I'm not sure, but I hope not. I'm assuming that you can land anywhere and state where you intend to live, although I'm not sure if Quebec would be different. I know that we're hoping to land in New Brunswick, then drive to Ontario.

Edit: Again, not sure for Quebec, but I'm pretty sure that for other provinces and territories you can land anywhere. I'll use the example of Nunavut; except for charter and seasonal flights to Greenland, there are no international flights so you cannot land there. You would have to land in southern Canada then fly to Nunavut. Similarly for some other provinces and territories that have limited connections.
