Will it help me with getting a visitor visa for my mother and brother if I reserve 2 way tickets beforehand and send them the proof.

Most of the people here in the forum wouldn't recommend to buy airfare before the approval of the visa. It is not a guarantee that the Visit visa will be approved.

I would suggest to gather necessary requirements to show the ties of your mother and brother in their home country (like job, house/land title/ car/ bank account etc.) under their name.

Also, your T4, COE etc. to show your capacity to support them.

Yes, it will help.

But it will not guarantee approval, nor it will compensate for other more important issues like ties to homeocuntry and financial capability.
