Rescheduling Oath

Hi everyone i am out of Canada for some emergency reasons and i doubt i can make it for my oath. Is there any1 here who has rescheduled their oath and how long did they have to wait for the reschedule oath.

Not a good idea. Remember someone requested to re schedule in Jan 2021 and they are still waiting. In fact, their background recently expired so they are back in process. With such a backlog expect it to be at least more than 6 months.

I had requested to postpone my oath scheduled for December 14, 2021 and I got invited again yesterday for Feb 2, 2022. My office is Calgary. I may have been lucky but I guess I want to say that my experience was good with postponing.

That is startlingly fast. So fast, in fact, I think you're the only person I've read that has postponed and gotten another shot at it. Perhaps Calgary has less of a backlog than the other processing centres.

So I was stuck back in my home country with COVID positive and my couldn't travel for oath so I joined my oath invite and explained my situation and they have rescheduled my oath for monday stay positive guys. Cheers

Received Oath letter on February 10, but we already had a vacation planned (tickets bought, hotels booked - family wedding) so we were not going to change plans. Followed instructions and asked of oath to be postponed. Sent IRCC an email when we got back last week, with copies of boarding passes as proof of return, but haven't heard back. Anyone know how long rescheduling an oath takes these days? I called IRCC and they said there are no timelines, it all depends on the processing office (Mississauga).

do everything to not reschedule.. we rescheduled as a family, but… my wife and kid have been rescheduled after 6 months, and I’m still waiting for mine. I have asked to reschedule 10+ months ago.
