Well, there is no information on that. So submit with your application those that are required on the checklist. The visa officer will communicate with you if and when s/he needs additional documents.

in my case, after i went to the canadian consulate to file my application, first they reviewed my file and told me to come back..
then recieved an email from them that i need to provide additional document such as pay slip, then i mailed it to them....
